Customer Service Associate, Goldeneye Training Academy

Our company is looking for a part time skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

What winning looks like:

  • Answers incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
  • Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers
  • Greeting customers and visitors as needed.
  • Preparing course specific folders, as necessary for upcoming classes.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Completing and maintaining supply inventory lists.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.

Skills Needed to Win:

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
  • Ability to write clearly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient or the ability to quickly learn other various computer programs (Zoom, Customer Relations Management System, Course Registration Software, etc.).
  • Warm personality.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Learn, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and codes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.

Qualification:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older- Required
  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a business-related field preferred).
  • Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers. – Required

Assistant Firearm Instructor , Goldeneye Training Academy

Our company is looking for a part time skilled problem solver to join our team as am Assistant Firearms Instructor. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

What winning looks like:

Assist firearm instructors in weapons training duties and performs related work as assigned.

This classification requires a basic knowledge of all types of firearms used; basic shooting techniques and the ability to perform inspection, maintenance and repair of company weapons as well as various range equipment (if applicable).

The responsibilities and essential duties performed by appointed individuals include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducts inspections of company-issued weapons, including handguns, shotguns, rifles.
  • Provide maintenance and repairs to company weapons, along with range equipment (if applicable).
  • Use a computer and applicable software related to the delivery of the prescribed lessons. Software includes: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Google Chrome, Data Entry Software.
  • Attend courses and training seminars relating to weapons maintenance and firearms training as required. The requirement shall be 1 course or seminar per calendar year related to the subject you are an instructor in.
  • Deliver and retrieve weapons for repair.
  • Lift and carry boxes of ammunition and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform other projects and tasks, as assigned.
  • Interaction with company staff, law enforcement personnel and suppliers/vendors of weapons, ammunition and range equipment.

Skills Needed to Win:

Qualification:

  • Range Safety Officer Certification (NRA or other) – Required (Willing to train the right candidate).
  • Former Law Enforcement or Military Firearms Instructor – Preferred

Knowledge of:

  • Local, State and Federal regulations / laws applicable to firearms, firearm permits and permit endorsements.
  • Firearms, ammunition and range safety standards.
  • Firearms inspection and repair.
  • Range target systems.
  • Computer applications and office equipment use.
  • Principles and procedures of record keeping.
  • Basic mathematics.
  • The principles of proper English sentence structure, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Basic storage procedures for weapons and ammunition.
  • Basic first-aid practices.

Ability to:

  • Effectively and safely operate and maintain a Shooting Range, classroom, or storeroom for ammunition, targets and related equipment.
  • Effectively and safely operate a variety of firearms.
  • Operate a personal computer and use applicable software programs.
  • Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of weapons as well as various range equipment.
  • Learn, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and codes.
  • Understand and carry out oral and written directions with limited supervision.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Read and write at the level required for successful job performance.

Physical Demands and the Working Environment:

  • Work is performed on a shooting range and in an office / classroom environment.
  • When in the classroom setting, work requires to stand for periods of time.
  • When in a shooting range environment (and possibly in the classroom setting) work requires standing for extended periods of time and exposure to a variety of firearms and other weapons, related chemicals, gun cleaning solvents, ammunition and explosive materials, ammunition smoke as well as hand and power tools related to weapon repairs.
  • Work includes exposure to extreme noise of firearms, requiring the use of ear protection equipment.
  • Must possess mobility, vision, hearing, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed.
  • Physical demands include walking, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, grasping, lifting and carrying boxes of ammunition and other items weighing 50 pounds or less.
  • Work requires the driving of a vehicle on business.

The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

What Winning Looks Like:

Conducts weapons training duties, security training duties, and / or medical related training duties and performs related work as assigned.

This classification requires a comprehensive knowledge of all types of firearms used; appropriate shooting techniques and instruction methods; and the ability to perform inspection, maintenance and repair of company weapons as well as various range equipment (if applicable).

The responsibilities and essential duties performed by appointed individuals include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide firearms training and qualification for individuals as may be assigned.
  • Provide personal instruction to include remedial instruction.
  • Instruct on the lesson plans and training sessions for firearms and less lethal weapons, as prescribed by the company.
  • Operates, demonstrates, and provides instruction on a variety of weapons including shotguns, handguns and rifles.
  • Incorporates new and advanced training aids into existing programs as appropriate.

  • Former Law Enforcement or Military Firearms Instructor – Preferred
